HIGHKUNA FREEDOM BIRDS - Season 1 | Online Release 02-08-2020

HIGHKUNA's FREEDOM BIRDS collection was introduced to emphasize and embody the community character as a core value.

Inspired by the magic power of the team-spirit traditional US sports teams experience, HIGHKUNA's creators in Florida started the ideation process with the european designers acting as if they would form its own unique sports team back in the 70’s from scratch.

Referencing to vintage shapes, the FREEDOM BIRDS’ Highkuna signature lettering was introduced as a first timeless motif of this collection and defined a design base. By combining this old school style with contemporary elements of urban fashion design, further motifs were formed following a clean and expressive design language.
